Iranian Artist Debut at thge venice Biennale

Hossein Khosrojerdi, Behrooz Daresh and Ahmad Nadalian will atlend a press conference on their participation of the most grand international visual arts event. 
The press conference is to be held at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art on Saturday June 12, 2003 at 5 p.m

TMCA Director has been Awarded National Art Club Gold Medal
The director of Tehran Museum of Contemporary  Art (TMCA) , Alireza Samiazar has been awarded  the U.S. National Arts Club Gold Medal for his efforts in promotion of  Iranian art in the world in 2003.President of the club Eldon James said that such efforts In paving the ground for more communications between Iranian artists and the world art centers are highly admirable.  02.jpg (39250 bytes)

The museum has been active in recent years helping to develop the abilities of Iranian painters in the world. as well as to show Iranians' great interest and talent in art the president  underlined adding that art is a common language between all nations in the world.
The National Arts Club was founded in 1898 in New York aiming to expand and encourage interest in understanding of fine arts. The club grants gold Medal to prominent figures in artistic fields.
Prominent figures such as Spanish painter Salvador Dali, U.S. sculptor George Segal, and U.S. painter Roy Lichtenstein are among some of the Club's award winners.
