Contemporary art encompasses such a wide spectrum and is manifested in such diverse forms that no single exhibition is capable of illustrating all or a large part of it. This expansive realm covers a wide range of subjects: quest for seeking identity, spiritual concerns, mystic elation, cosmological obsessions,
cultural concerns, lingual games, environmental considerations, theoretical sensitivities, personal and social pathologies, formalistic approaches, etc. Presentation of artworks has also been diversified and the media as well as applied techniques in creation of a given artwork have become a subject of contemplation. Works of a number of Iranian artists are juxtaposed with works by twenty four international artists to showcase manifestations of contemporary art.continue
